Mile High Farms {Preview and Discounts}

I wrote this post on behalf of Mile High Farms and will receive promotional items to thank me for my time.  I was supplied with all information for this post.

Last year, we had a blast at Anderson Farms for our Fall Festival Trip.  This year, we’ll be visiting Mile High Farms, located just 30 minutes from our home.

This year at Mile High Farms, there are some new additions inspired by kids.  There is a Craft Castle full of imaginative stations for the entire family.  Also, they have upcycled a 1937 Chevy School Bus into a birthday party destination where you can host your child’s special events.  Don’t miss the new maze inspired by an undiscovered dinosaur found on the land while planting pumpkins!  Mile High Farm’s approach is simple: plant with imagination, water with fun, grow something special.

Follow Mile High Farms on Facebook to get all the latest details.  Visit any day between 10am and dusk from September 21st to October 31st!  Click here to get $2.00 off Adult Tickets / $1.00 off for Children and Seniors.

God Bless You and Good Night Book {Review and Giveaway}

Baby C has been really into giraffes lately.  So when she saw the cover of our new book, she fell in love right away.  She took her bath as fast as she could so that she could get ready for bed and read her night time story.

Synopsis from Thomas Nelson Website:
In God Bless You and Good Night, sleepy little ones are reminded of God’s blessings and how much they are loved. The delightful rhyming story takes readers through several scenes of snuggly animals who are getting ready for bed. These sweet, sometimes silly rhymes and adorable art are sure to make God Bless You and Good Night a favorite part of the bedtime ritual for parents and children.

God Bless You and Good Night is perfect for children ages 1 – 4 to prepare them for a restful night sleep.  Baby C wanted to read the book over and over.  We finally decided she could take it to bed with her.
You can purchase the same book Baby C has for $9.99 at TommyNelson.com or choose from a variety of other faith products.  Tommy Nelson is offering one blessed reader a copy of God Bless You and Good Night book for your little one.  Stay connected with Tommy Nelson on FacebookTwitter and Pinterest.

It’s Been A While

It’s been a while since I wrote a personal post.  And here’s a little sneak peek as to why . . .

So little miss Baby C is going to have a baby brother or sister.  Though it looks like she is totally excited in this picture, she really has no idea what is going on.  She just can’t wrap her mind around it yet.
And as for me, I’m not one of those blessed woman who has no first trimester symptoms.  Darn!  I’ve been feeling really tired and nauseas.  And any change in me brings on a headache.  I had one serious anxiety attack, but other then that, I’ve been able to keep my anxiety at bay.
I’ve had a few doctor’s appointments and one with a high risk pregnancy doctor, for reassurance that things would be okay this time.  I got many of my questions that I’ve had for so long, answered.  So I’m really thankful I saw him.
Other then that, we’re just taking each day at a time.  Or maybe it’s more like each meal at a time.  Because I’m having trouble stomaching most things.
Any tips for this second time mom who forgot how tough 1st trimester can be?
