Its here, its here!  I’m so excited to share with you Shaklee 180!  At the beginning of each year, many of us create goals or resolutions for the new year.  And most of those include losing weight or creating a healthier life for yourself and your family.

And that’s where Shaklee 180 comes in.  What is Shaklee 180?  Its a weight management program from the number 1 natural nutrition company in the US, divided into 2 parts.  The first 90 days Shaklee provides you with a Turnaround Kit, which includes everything you need to lose weight.  This includes Energizing Smoothies, Meals in a bar, Snack bars, Energizing Tea (which is one of my favorites) and Metabolic Boost.

The next 90 days (put the two together and you have 180, yay!)  Shaklee gives you everything you need to create or maintain a leaner and healthier you.  This Lean and Healthy Kit includes Smoothies and Shaklee Vitalizer.

Shaklee 180 helps you stay motivated with awesome prizes as you reach your nutritional goals.  A little healthy competition could win you a trip to Nashville or the grand prize to Paris.  You’ll also get support tools to stay on track, as well as, workouts and professional health advice.

The best part about this program is that you can get it for FREE!  Just find 3 friends that want to join you on your Turnaround or Lean and Healthy journey, and you get yours for FREE!

Are you ready to take your shape in a whole new direction?

Top 12 Posts of 2012

This time of year, its always fun to walk down memory lane to see what you’ve been through the past year, both the good and the bad, or just the plain funny.  So I thought I would share my top 12 posts of 2012 based on the comments I received each month.  Happy end of 2012!

I distinctly remember after Baby C turned 1, the pain from teething was immense.  I remember fearing that something else was wrong, because she was so inconsolable.  Is She Teething was the top post of January.

I joined a blog hop in February, so I natural gained more comments then usual on my top post.  The best part of the hop was that I met my friend, Lisa, from expandng.com.  This is when Baby C and I first experienced Bullies

In March, we moved once again, and it was time for Baby C’s next well visit.  When I didn’t know anyone in the area, it was hard Picking A Pediatrician.  I definitely had a bad experience and it seems like some of you could relate.

Baby C and I enjoy doing crafts together.  We’re not very good at it, but when its Edible Art, it doesn’t really matter!

Saving Memories was a big hit in May.  We received a beautiful gift to help us remember the first year of Baby C’s life.

Baby C learned the art of Mulitasking this past June.  What a funny little girl!

When it came to keeping your kids healthy, you loved receiving tips from moms all around the web for Encouraging Healthy Back-To-School year, in July.

Crayon Eater Baby C continued to make us laugh in August.  You’ll be happy to know that she has moved on to Play-doh!

We all enjoyed A Rockin’ Week when Grammie came to visit in September!

Anderson Farms was a fun event to share as we picked out our favorite pumpkin in October.

By November, we were all curious to know Where’s The Toddler Handbook, but agreed we probably didn’t need one anyway.

And we ended this year when Baby C Turned 2!

What were your top moments in 2012?

Caillou Birthday Party

On our last day of vacation, we celebrated Baby C’s 2nd birthday with close family and friends.  This year’s theme was Caillou because Baby C is obsessed loves him so much!

We had great help from wonderful venders and family.  Beautiful invitations were created by Simply Printable.  Decorations were provided by Birthday Express and Sweet Pink Designs

Bumble of Joy created Baby C’s Caillou dinosaur hair clip and Grandma made Baby’s delicious, Caillou teddy bear birthday cake.

 The rest of the decor was primary colors just like the show.  Baby C dressed in a yellow shirt and mommy and daddy wore primary color tops to match.  Her birthday party was held at a local pavilion on a beautiful lake with a playground.  This was the same place we celebrated her birthday last year.

 It was such a blessing to have our family and friends together on our last day.  Such a bittersweet day, for sure!  Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate my sweet tiny blessing!

Do you like to have a theme for your child’s birthday party?

Our Family Vacation {Part 3}

Our family vacation series continues.  Check out Part 1 and Part 2 if you missed it!  Then come back here and read the rest.

Much of our vacation was not documented in photos.  We spent lots of quality time with family and friends, that I felt I just needed to sit back and enjoy that time catching up.  But here are some other pictures that I captured throughout our vacation.

We spent a lot of time on Grandma and Pop Pop’s porch.  I sat back and drank my energy tea while Baby C played with the ball, trampoline, slide and bubbles.

We ate dinner with Pop and Bebe one night.  Okay, Baby C barely ate her dinner (as usual), but she loved jammin’ on the piano.  She didn’t bang on the keys as I thought she would.  Instead, she thoughtfully picked each key she wanted to play.
Grandma let us borrow her car during the week, so we dropped her off at her hair salon every morning.  Because the Florida humidity wasn’t enough, Baby C wanted her hair extra curly.
One of my favorite times was being able to stick my feet in the soft, white sand of Siesta Key.  Baby C loved it too!  She walked all the way out to the sandbar with daddy!
Do you love the beach too?  Which one is your favorite?
Our last day of vacation was spent celebrating Baby C’s 2nd birthday.  Stay Tuned!

Our Family Vacation {Part 2}

Our family vacation continues . . .

The next day we took a little car trip to have lunch with my brother and his family, along with my dad.  And then we all headed over to my grandma’s house, Baby C’s great grandma.  Baby C and her big cousin had so much fun getting into trouble together.

Big cousin B is about 6 months older then Baby C.  They are so much alike and yet so much different in so many ways.  B is tall, skinny and blonde, while Baby C is short with dark hair.  They both have their favorite stuffed animal.  B loves his Mr. Bear and Baby C’s security item is her monkey, or as Baby C calls him, “Money!”
The next day, we took a trip with Grandma to the Florida Aquarium to visit the fish!  Once in a while, Baby C would stop and check out the fishies, but she mostly ran up and down the long halls.
After all the running around Baby C did, we headed outside to the sandbox.  She played in the sand and Chad and I got to lean back and relax.
Stay tuned for the rest of our vacation and Baby C’s Caillou Birthday Party!
If you could go anywhere, where would you take your family for vacation?

Our Family Vacation {Part 1}

A few weeks ago, we took a family vacation back home to Florida, to be with family and friends.  Every time we go home, it seems like there just isn’t enough time for it all and we are always squeezing in as much as we can.

We had a great trip!  It started out dark and early on a Friday morning.  I woke Baby C up and as I got her dressed, she says to me very slowly, “I’m a tired baby.”  The only awesome thing about traveling so early on a Friday morning is that our flight was  empty.  We had the whole back of the plane to ourselves.  As we traveled from the airport back to our hometown, it was evident that Baby C was quite tired.

Once we arrived at Grandma and Pop Pop’s (B-bop as Baby C calls him), she took off and enjoyed the outdoor patio!  She loved the freedom and I loved that she could play safely in the outdoors.
The next morning, we got to play with some of Baby C’s cousins.  They read books, colored, jumped on the trampoline and they all fit perfectly on the see-saw together.
Later, that same day, we got to meet one of my best friend’s baby for the first time.  It was so exciting to finally meet this handsome, little man!
So that was day one and two of our trip.  Stay tuned for more family vacation fun!

Nuby’s Wacky Ware Bowl and Lid {Review and Giveaway}

Baby C has a yummy and healthy breakfast every morning.  It consists of Flaxseed Oatmeal and a half pouch of Organic Fruit and Veggie Puree.  I crush up and add her vitamins in too!  She doesn’t even know they are there.  I’m so excited to share with you my latest review from Nuby, because it helps out so much at breakfast time (and any time).

The Wacky Ware Bowl and Lid is designed for food and fun!  Not only does it have a cool shape and bright, fun colors, it is super functional.  With it’s tightly sealed lid, you can heat meals in the microwave or store left overs in the refrigerator for later.  The bowl is very durable, so it’s perfect for toddlers.

I love that I can heat up Baby C’s oatmeal in the same, fun and functional bowl that I serve it to her with.  She thinks the bowl is pretty “wacky” and so much fun, too!  You can purchase the same Wacky Ware Bowl and Lid that Baby C has for $5.70 from Nuby.com or choose from an assortment of other feeding products.  Stay connected with Nuby on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest!

Nuby is offering one Sweet Tiny Blessings’ reader a Wacky Ware Bowl and Lid of their own.  Simply fill out the Rafflecopter form below

Birthday Express {Review}

If I haven’t said it before, I’ll say it again.  Baby C loves Caillou!  So I decided to throw her a Caillou birthday party for her 2nd birthday.  (I’ll have more details on her party later).  I searched many places to find Caillou party supplies, but not many carry them.  Until I found Birthday Express.

Birthday Express offers a variety of birthday supplies for girls, boys and even adults.  Supplies include, but not limited to, invitations, thank you notes, centerpieces, favor boxes, dinner plates and banners.  You can even customize your theme by adding your own pictures!

Birthday Express generously provided us with the Caillou Basic Party Pack for 8 to help celebrate Baby C’s birthday.  It includes invitations, dinner plates, cups, forks, spoons, activity placemats, napkins, tablecloth and balloons.

Baby C’s birthday party was filled with family members and friends, so we used the supplies provided by Birthday Express for the kid’s table.  It made it super festive and so much fun!  We will definitely check out Birthday Express again for future birthday celebrations.

You can purchase the same Caillou Basic Party Pack that we used for $23.99 at BirthdayExpress.com or choose from a variety of other birthday supplies.  Keep up with Birthday Express on Facebook and Twitter, too!

What birthday party theme are you searching for?

#ThrowbackThursday Christmas Time

Since it’s the Christmas season, I thought I would take you back a few years through our Christmas’s.  Here is my husband and I before we were married in 2008.  We are in Florida at my mom and step dad’s house where I grew up.  Goodness!  We look so young.
In 2009, we were now married, but my husband was overseas in Iraq.  That was an extremely hard year being away from him for so long, but especially during Christmas time.  So, I don’t have a picture to provide you with.
Let’s jump ahead to 2010!  Baby C was born 2 weeks ago.  She was our Christmas gift.  I was extremely tired and in a lot of pain, but at the time, we didn’t know why I was in so much pain.  This picture was taken at my mother-in-law’s house in Florida where we were living at the time.
In 2011, we were living in Colorado.  I don’t have a family picture so here is Baby C last year on Christmas.  Wow!  She sure has grown so much since then!

I’m looking forward to taking more Christmas photos this year to share with you!

 What has been your favorite or least favorite Christmas?

Baby C Turns 2

Two years ago today, I gave birth to my Sweet Tiny Blessing.  I could not imagine my life without this beautiful, baby girl.  She is my angel who has taught me what unconditional love truly is.  Thank you for letting me be your mommy, Baby C!  Happy birthday, Sweet Girl!

Baby C a few days old
Baby C turns 1
Baby C turns 2
I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart
Although he spoke no word!
I didn’t ask for wealth or fame
(I knew you wouldn’t mind).
I asked him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!
I asked that he be near you
At the start of each new day;
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share your way!
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small.
But it was for his loving care
I prayed the most of all!
